Astor House Hotel, Shanghai

My stay at the hotel was lovely. The rooms are spacious, with nice wooden floors and high ceilings, although there were issues with constant smoking nearby. The location is just perfect, very close to the Bund and river, and the worried-looking staff members were attentive. However, the dining experience wasn't the best, and the facilities could use some improvement.

The hotel is like a 'Hogwarts' looking gem, perfectly located close to the Bund, shopping, and all that Shanghai has to offer. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, featuring a double and a king single bed, a large desk, big screen TV, a full mini-bar, and a lovely large bathroom. The only downside is the expensive dining experience at ¥78 per person.

I can't believe how incredible my stay was! The hotel gave me an amazing executive room with an uncracked bathroom mirror, an even comfier bed, and a massive LCD TV that was a real upgrade from the Zhou Room. The room was so spacious with a fantastic bed, although it did get a bit cold at night. Plus, the price I paid was way lower than what I've seen on any travel site.
